My name is Brenna Rush, the face behind The Feisty Ginger!
The Feisty Ginger is a lifestyle blog, meant to serve as an inspiration for anyone who loves fashion, modeling, photography, or small tidbits from my life.

I started this blog in 2018, after I began working as a freelance model. I knew when I started that I needed to create a website that would showcase my modeling portfolio, but I also know that there are more sides to my story than just my job. At first, it was mostly me just talking about my normal life with my husband, Mitch, and my dog, Marley, but I realized that people are much more interested in getting advice about what I'm working on than just the weekend report.

The fashion blogging world has really blown up in recent years, but when I first started modeling I had no idea exactly how to get started. There isn't really anything on the internet that tells you how to be a model. Being a freelance model, especially, was tough for me so I sort of just figured it out as I went. I want to be a voice though and help other girls who want to get into the fashion or modeling industry, or even just learn how to feel more comfortable in front of a camera. If I can do it, literally anybody can!

That's why I call this a lifestyle blog, because I feel like having a voice and talking about real life is important too. I occasionally share about my life and my marriage still, but now my mindset is more about inspiring others and giving them the tools they need to succeed in this industry, rather than just a journal that documents my day-to-day.

1. I have been married for 2 years to my husband, Mitch. He's actually perfect.
2. We have a Great Pyrenees, named Marley. She's also perfect.
3. I am from Denver, Colorado!
4. I am studying English Education at BYU right now and will graduate next year.
5. I am 23 years old.
6. My favorite band is Coldplay!
7. I speak fluent Portuguese.
8. I lived in Africa for a year and a half when I was 19-20.
9. I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived in Lexington, Kentucky for 6 years as a kid.
10. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!
11. My favorite place in the world is anywhere with a sunny beach.
12. I've done a ton of traveling in my life and it is my favorite thing to do!
13. My all-time favorite song is "Hey Jude" by the Beatles.
14. I could eat Mexican food everyday and never get tired of it.
15. I absolutely hate being cold, so winter is the worst for me.
